Range Finders for Crossbows

A rangefinder is a device that measures distance from the observer to a target, for the purposes of surveying, determining focus in photography, or accurately aiming a weapon. The range finder is a very useful equipment that can assist the shooter in getting that perfect shot. Some well known brand range finders are Leupold, Nikkon, Leica and Bushnell. These manufactures produce high quality range finders that can be used under any type of weather conditions.

When the perfect prize winning buck presents itself, be sure of your distance by utilizing one of the well know brand hunting rangefinders. To be able to properly compensate for bullet or arrow drop, you need to know just how far you are from your target. Use the most advanced distance measuring technology with a laser rangefinder for hunting. The range finder is an essential tool for any hunter, because it allows them to pin point their shot from any distance.

Rangefinders are more useful for hunting. A rangefinder would certainly read the trees at 130 yards and ignore the flag 30 yards closer. In hunting situations you are often in a blind or screened somewhat by limbs or leaves. A hunting rangefinder, would ignore the first object in its line of view such as the branches, and read the most distant object, which may be a deer.

Each and every brand name range finder can be mounted onto a riffle scope or crossbow scope when suing a range finder mount. This range mount finder is made by Excalibur Crossbows and one of its unique features is that it can be mounted on top or vertically of the scope. You will need to purchase some different rings so that there can be enough space between the scope and the rail, so that the range finder mount can be set vertically. The rangefinder does come with velcro so that you can easily detach it from the mount and store your riffle or crossbow away. If you ever want to have the pin point or bulls eye shot don’t hesitate to purchase a range finder.
